ARCHITECTURE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
Remember that time when the world closed during covid and you built a jungle cabana in Tulum? Always inspired by architecture and finding new creative spaces to design in I have been looking for a pet project to build a vacation home and studio. In 2020 I purchased a property 10 minutes outside of Tulum and built a 900 square villa in paradise. The experience of designing a physical space was a true joy. Working with the properties terrain and preserving the large trees presented a creative challenge that was the guiding light to building a home that felt ‘at home’ with its surroundings. I titled the first cabana Tu Musa, combining the name Tulum and Muse, as it was my personal space to find strength and inspiration when the world was changing so quickly. I enjoyed this process so much, I am currently working on future design plans for properties in Bacalar and the Quintana Roo region.

Development
The documentation you are seeing covers the course of 14 months. From designing the villa to finding the architect and contractors the experience took a little over a year to complete. I can’t thank everyone enough for all their hard work and commitment to quality as we created this work of art.
The current model is host to presale inquiries in the Quintana Roo Region. The market to move away from traditional condos is growing in the Tulum region. With growing infrastructure spreading inland and the allure of the jungle, investors are choosing small scale villas where they own the land over questionable quality condos.
